Dave Kingman, dubbed “Sky King,” left an unforgettable mark on baseball, launching home runs like meteors streaking across the sky. Standing 6'6" with a bat that could send baseballs into orbit, Kingman was a force unlike any other, wielding power that seemed almost otherworldly. His career, spanning from 1971 to 1986, was filled with towering home runs—blasts that soared beyond the reaches of ordinary play, creating awe and inspiration wherever he went.
The Sky King traveled across the league, spreading his legend from city to city, a cosmic traveler always ready to unleash his signature long ball. With 442 career home runs, he cemented himself as one of the sport’s legendary power hitters, as if sent from another realm to remind us of the beauty and force of pure, unfiltered strength. His legacy remains: a larger-than-life figure, a legend of baseball's own galaxy, who dared to aim for the stars with every swing.

Pop Fly Pop Shop is an ongoing art project by Daniel Jacob Horine that started in 2020. At its core, the project features weekly limited-edition collectible art prints called “Pop Flys,” each measuring 7 x 10.5". These prints showcase sports legends and iconic moments, depicted in the vibrant, exaggerated style of comic book storytelling. Each release captures the magic of both sports and art, making Pop Flys a unique fusion of nostalgia and creativity.

Each Pop Fly art print measures 7 x 10.5" and is hand-signed and numbered by the artist on the back. It comes packaged in a comic book sleeve, reminiscent of the comics you collected as a kid. Additionally, each print includes a collectible ticket, which is also produced in limited editions. These tickets are as collectible as the prints themselves, adding another layer of nostalgia and value to the overall experience. We want the feeling of opening a Pop Fly to transport you back in time to those moments of excitement and joy from childhood.
