Babe Ruth, known to the world as "The Great Bambino," was a towering figure in baseball history, whose career transformed the sport. Born George Herman Ruth in 1895, he started with the Boston Red Sox as a formidable left-handed pitcher. But it wasn't long before his bat stole the show.

In 1919, Ruth shattered the home run record with 29 blasts, heralding the end of the Dead Ball Era. His move to the New York Yankees in 1920 turned him into a national sensation. With his prodigious power, he hit a staggering 60 home runs in 1927, a record that stood for decades.

Ruth's charisma and flair captivated fans, making him a cultural icon and symbol of hope during tough times. By the time he retired in 1935, he had hit 714 home runs, a mark that seemed untouchable for years. The Great Bambino didn't just play baseball; he revolutionized it, leaving a legacy that continues to inspire and awe.

“Every time I look at these prints, I think of my father. If artists can channel their adversity into incredible works of art that we get to enjoy, then we should challenge ourselves to turn our struggles into something that can benefit others.”
