Luis Tiant, born November 23, 1940, in Havana, Cuba, is a name resonating through baseball history. His career was a poetic journey on the diamond.
In 1964, El Tiante burst into MLB. His dazzling pitches and unconventional windup left batters bewildered. Cleveland saw his rise, where he earned 2 All-Star nods, painting masterpieces on the mound.
In 1971, fate led him to Boston. Fenway Park was his cathedral; fans, his congregation. "El Tiante" was born. '72 showcased a jaw-dropping 1.91 ERA. But the 1975 World Series etched him into legend. Game 4 was his symphony, captivating the nation.
Tiant's journey took him through teams, his charisma transcending loyalties. He was a baseball nomad with universal legend status.
Beyond stats, Tiant pioneered Latin American talent, leaving a legacy of perseverance and love for the game.
Today, Luis Tiant's name is a sweet refrain, reminding us of a time when baseball was poetry in motion, with El Tiante as its bard.

This 7 x 10.5" art print will be available for purchase between now and 10/15/23, after which it is retired forever. The artwork is estimated to ship between 40-60 days after the purchase window closes. This is not a guaranteed timeline, only an estimate.
Our art prints (not a comic book) is printed on double-thick card stock & come packaged in all the nostalgia you can ask for. The art print is a pre-order item for sale for one week only and then the print is retired and the print run is locked.
