So many ideas start with a good "What if?" This Pop Fly, different than the rest, stems from a what if. "What if I included a pouch of Big League Chew and a box instead of a pack of baseball cards?" That then evolved into "Why don't I do a big league chew pop fly?". I associate few flavors with childhood more so than Big League Chew. It takes me back to quiet moments from long ago - sitting in my bedroom, pouring over my baseball cards, dreaming of the day I would surely become a shortstop for the Dodgers. This Pop Fly project is a love letter to the game, its players, and its culture and experience. Baseball has so many sights and sounds but has so many flavors associated with it. 

I reached out to Big League Chew, and they were thrilled with the idea of working with me on a Pop Fly print. And viola: a collaboration was born. What's more, Big League Chew answered the original "What if" and is providing a pouch of their gum with each order. I hope that flavor is as much of a time machine for you as it is for me. This cover was also very special to me because I was able to use my son, Daniel Jr, as the model for this piece. In fact, he is not too far off from my age when I was at home studying the little cardboard totems of my superheroes many years ago. It was an honor to include my little real-life superhero in this print. And let me tell you - he is very proud of this! So as always… this print is available for one week only, and then it is retired forever. Be sure to get it before you can't!
