Now admittedly, I'd not heard of the term "The Batter's Eye" before this project. As interested as I have always been in baseball, this term had gone over my head. It might've ben mentioned 100 times and I never really stopped to think of what it was

But once I really heard it and my brain took hold of what it was, I was absolutely interested in doing a piece on it. I mean think of it: an ominous name like "The Batter's Eye", covered in darkness, peering over every baseball field is such an engaging idea to me. The idea has been rattling around in my head for half a year and I was so excited when it was time to sit down and work this idea out. Part mystery, part horror, part goofy fun, this piece was so fun to make and I hope you can feel it.

This is a pre-order item and will be shipped 30-40 days after the print is retired.
