From the Artist: Baseball isn’t just a game contained within the boundaries of a field or within the confines of a stadium. Its woven into our lives, our business, our relationships. It’s also in the music we listen to, the movies we watch and the TV shows we grow up with. Case in point, the moment where Keith Hernandez was, well, Keith Hernandez on one of the most popular shows in television history. This piece highlighting the Seinfeld episode “The Boyfriend” is also a homage to the romance comics popular in the 40’s-70’s. And what’s more, what an exciting opportunity to work with Keith Hernandez on this one! As a kid, he was one of best of the best and of course a member of one of the most formidable baseball teams ever assembled. Jerry Seinfeld said of all of the guests he ever had on the show, Keith Hernandez was the only one he was nervous about meeting. This was really a dream come true to work with Keith on this piece!
