"Robo Umps":
August 29th, 2025. It was sold to us as progress - more accuracy, fewer missed calls. But what we didn't realize was that we were losing something far more important.
A big part of baseball's charm was the imperfection of it all. The missed calls, the arguments, the unpredictability. It was what made the game so exciting, so thrilling to watch. But now, with them in charge, it all felt cold and calculated.
The players were powerless to argue with the machines.
Sure, they might make fewer mistakes, but at what cost? We were losing the drama, the tension, the emotion. We were losing the heart of the game. And as I watched, I couldn't help but feel a sense of loss. The robots might be efficient, but they could never replace the passion and humanity.
For so long, we heard they were coming. But now they're not coming....they're already here.

This 7 x 10.5" art print will be available for purchase between now and 3/12/23, after which it is retired forever. The artwork is estimated to ship between 40-60 days after the purchase window closes. This is not a guaranteed timeline, only an estimate.
Our art prints (not a comic book) is printed on double-thick card stock & come packaged in all the nostalgia you can ask for. The art print is a pre-order item for sale for one week only and then the print is retired and the print run is locked.
