This is a pre-order item for sale for one week only and then the print is retired and the print run is locked. Every copy is signed and numbered by the artist. Print retires Sunday, July 11th @ 6pm EST | 3pm PST. Product ships out 2nd week of August.

From the artist: “Though the actual event happened on April 25th there’s hardly a more July 4th moment than the time Rick Monday swooped in and grasped the American flag from two protesters who were trying to burn it during a game at Dodger Stadium. Centerfielder Rick Monday, who was nearby, spent six years in the Marine Corps Reserves would have none of the anti-American protest literally unfolding right in front of him. I wanted to capture this moment and amplify it in true epic comic book form for this special July 4th release. Included in this piece are quotes from Monday himself, Tommy Lasorda as well as Vin Scully’s famous call that all help tell the story of one of the most iconic moments in Dodger history that interestingly wasn’t performed by a Dodger’
